Native American Heritage Month and the Media

The Moody Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is honored to host a panel discussion that focuses on questions and issues about Native Americans and Indigenous peoples and the media. Panelists, who are all students at Moody, will address how media contribute to stereotypes, as well as how media producers and users can help to work change the situation and lead to transformational change.
Panelists include: Isadora Dumont and Sewa Olivares. ailish Elzy, graduate student in Radio, Television, and Film, and member of the Moody DEI team, will moderate the event.
