Austin Design Week 2021

Join us for a week of FREE discussions, panels, and workshops as we celebrate the creative community in the sixth annual Austin Design Week!
The diverse programming is 100% free and open to the public (registration required). This year, we’re offering both virtual and in-person events, exploring the theme of “Futuring”. We understand Futuring to be about co-creating a collective future — working together as creative problem-solvers to identify upcoming challenges and work through them. The events will range from topics surrounding the future of the workplace, housing access, career development, sustainability, and more.
ADW21 aims to bring together the talented communities of designers and those interested in design in Austin ––and beyond. Individuals, firms, and organizations across disciplines engage, work together and learn from one another.
Event Highlights:
* Workshops, studio tours, talks and panels, and special events throughout the day (8:30 AM – 8:30 PM CST) online and in-person
* Several events each evening to choose from, including an outdoor Opening Event on Monday at the UT School of Design + Innovation and an end-of-the-week “Futuring Fair” with our sponsors
* Various venues around town including designers’ studios and workspaces, as well as freely accessible virtual events via Zoom

Our successful digital conference in 2020 taught us that virtual events were not only possible but needed to continue to be part of ADW’s future in order to help make our programming accessible. We are also eager to gather together in person again – to explore, discuss, learn, and build community – and we’re committed to doing so as safely as possible.
