CLD Professional Development Workshop Series: Strategizing Your Internship and Job Search

April 21 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm CDT

dealey

Communication and Leadership majors are invited to a Professional Development Workshop on Thursday April 21, 5-630 pm in DMC 5.102, focused on skills and strategies for completing a successful job search.

We know that searching for an internship or job can seem overwhelming at times and we want to make sure you have all the information you need to plan, start, and complete a successful search!  We’ve asked Ladd Flock, Director of the Moody College Career Center to offer skills and strategies that you can start using right away in your internship or search. Additionally, current and graduated CLD students will share insights about their own experiences searching for internships and jobs.  We will also talk about the details for CLD 351 which is the CLD required internship course (offered in spring, summer, and fall). Pizza and drinks will be provided, so please RSVP!

If you are worried that you are behind on your internship or job search, please know that you aren’t!  That is why we are offering this workshop now!  And if you’ve started already that is great too!  We think this workshop will help you do even more in your search.
