Diversity in Media Symposium 2023 — Global Women’s Rights and the Media: Past, Present and Future

Scheduled on March 23–24, in Austin, the event will bring together leading media and
communication professionals, scholars and students to call attention to and discuss the most pressing issues related to women’s rights and media around the world, and to contemplate strategies for improving the situation. From online harassment to femicide, women across the globe are under attack. What can the media and those who produce it do to create transformative and sustainable change?
