Maru Buendia-Senties, winner of the Cary Grant Film Award by the Princess Grace Foundation, earned her MFA in Film & Media Production at the University of Texas at Austin. Her strong post-production and visual effects background led to her collaborations with Robert Rodriguez at Troublemaker Studios; Mirada Studios, company created by Guillermo del Toro; and Pixomondo, visual effects company for Game of Thrones.

Over 12 years experience working in production, post-production and VFX Production Management on Sony, Screen Gems and Annapurna feature films, shows like Shipping Wars, Lucha Underground, Shark Tank, MTV, Disney Channel, TNT & FOX Network, and commercials for Facebook, AT&T, Target and VR experiences. Currently, freelancing for Amazon Studios on US Originals and LATAM projects.
