Please join us for a Q&A session where recent grads Ben Harizman (Assistant, William Morris Endeavor), Daniel Tuggle (Chief of Staff, Moment), Hemrani Vyas (Assistant Manager of Programming, TCM), and Rachel Wang (Project Artemis, Office Production Assistant, Apple Studios) discuss their careers, the scope of their work, and their views on the media industries.

Speaker Biographies

Ben Harizman (Assistant, William Morris Endeavor)

Raised in Connecticut, Ben Harizman graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021 with a major in Radio-Television-Film and a minor in Business. He served as an Undergraduate Learning Assistant for Business of Hollywood in the Fall of 2020 and worked as an Account Manager for Satellite Films in the Spring of 2021. Ben began as an assistant at William Morris Endeavor (WME Agency) in the Summer of 2021 where he continues to work today. Ben is an avid fan of movies and television – some of his favorite filmmakers include Richard Linklater, Noah Baumbach, and Cameron Crowe.


Daniel Tuggle (Chief of Staff, Moment)

Daniel works at Moment, formerly known as Moment House, where he serves as the CEO’s right hand, overseeing the company’s day-to-day strategy and operations. Prior to Moment, Daniel worked at Netflix advising Original Film executives on a range of topics, including but not limited to slate strategy, talent deals, and acquisitions. Daniel specifically worked with the Original Studio Film group, which shepherded big-budget projects like Don’t Look UpThe Gray Man, and The Irishman. Prior to Netflix, Daniel was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, providing strategic guidance to C-suite executives across a variety of sectors, including telecom, aviation, and private equity. Daniel holds a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film and a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.


Hemrani Vyas (Assistant Manager of Programming, TCM)

Hemrani Vyas is the assistant programming manager for TCM based in Atlanta. She is responsible for creating and maintaining both the US and Canadian network schedules as well as content curation. She completed her Masters of Arts in Communications from Georgia State University (2015) with a focus on Film and Television where she also taught courses on Film History and Television Analysis. Her interests include classic film history, feminist humor, and their intersection in digital culture.


Rachel Wang (Project Artemis Office Production Assistant, Apple Studios)

Rachel Wang is a ’21 RTF graduate that works in Freelance Production. Rachel was fortunate enough to land a Production internship at HBO her senior year, which led to an opportunity to spend her first year out of college working in Austin as an Office Production Assistant on HBO Max’s, Love and Death, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons. She recently moved to Atlanta to further her career and is currently working as an Office PA on an Apple Studios feature entitled, Project Artemis, starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum. Rachel desires to become a producer and enjoys dealing with logistics and problem-solving. Having come into RTF wanting to do post-production sound, she encourages students to try different things and discover what they’re passionate about.
