RTF End of Semester Screenings – Day 3 of 4 – Graduate Student Films

December 11, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 10:00 pm CST

RTF End of Semester Screenings – Day 3 of 4 – Graduate Student Films

After three quarantined semesters, the RTF community can finally come together to celebrate our student films the way they were meant to be enjoyed—in the theater. From animation to documentary, CGI to drama… this semester’s student work will be on display to the public from December 9–December 12.

Today we will have a full day of graduate student films in the Texas Union Theater (UNB 2.228), starting with the first-year documentaries, followed by pre-thesis films, and capped off by two screening blocks of thesis films. The events are free and open to the community.

Marking the culmination of their MFA program, new and recent graduates Hope Wager, Victoria McCarthy, Chris Foito, Dana Reilly, Carlos Estrada, Matt Lennon, Prakshi Malik, Sara Pinar Onder, John David DeVirgiliis, and Maggie Bailey will screen their thesis films. Join us in the lobby/patio area on the west side of the building immediately before the screenings at 4:15 pm for a light reception.

We kindly ask our audience members to wear a face mask over their nose and mouth.
