Texas Legislative Internship Seminar

Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life and the Texas Politics Project pleased are hosting the Texas Legislative Internship Seminar, a free, week-long webinar series of afternoon conversations with professional practitioners from many different walks of Capitol life. We’ve moved online for 2021, but our last three events earned raved reviews from interns and new staffers. Online discussions will feature experienced professionals discussing the rules of the House and Senate, protocols for succeeding at work in the legislature, and practical discussions of the role of the lobby and news media in the world of the legislature.
