The TEXAS Party at NCA

November 20, 2021 @ 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm CST

The TEXAS Party at NCA

CMS Community,

We invite all of you attending the National Communication Association Convention in Seattle to join us for The Texas Party on Saturday, Nov. 20, 7-9pm. We have reserved the entire brewery at Pike Brewing ( 1415 1st Avenue, Seattle ), which is just a short walk from the Sheraton Hotel and the Convention Center. Because we are outside the conference hotel this year, we need to get the word out to our alums and colleagues; so please forward this to interested others.

Faculty, those of you going to the conference have a few printed invites and a “sticky Bevo” for your name badge in your campus mailbox. Graduate students going to the conference, feel free to come by the main office to pick up a few printed invites and a Bevo as well. We’ll have extras of both at our Grad Fair booth also.

As a reminder, NCA attendees will need to show proof of COVID vaccination. Our understanding is that this will be true at Pike Brewing and other businesses around town (so please bring your CDC card or a picture of the card with you).

Safe travels and see you in Seattle!
