UT’s 2nd Annual Student Screenwriting Festival

Students! RSVP for info about UT’s Second Annual Student Screenwriting Festival—a creative weekend all about screenwriting!

The fest will include pitch sessions, discussions, table reads, writing prompts, movie screenings, and alumni panels. Snacks! Fun! And much, much more!

All UT students are welcome!

No experience is necessary.

Note: The festival is being organized by students and staff from the Department of Radio-Television-Film with support from the Moody College of Communication and the Center for Entertainment & Media Industries.

FRIDAY • MARCH 31

5:00 pm–6:00 pm  |  Mixer & Pizza (Prizes! T-shirts!)
6:00 pm–8:00 pm  |  Lecture & Kickoff!

SATURDAY • APRIL 1

11:00 am–12:00 pm  |   Lecture on Where Stories Come From
12:30 pm –4:30 pm  |  Small Group Workshops on television and feature film writing
5:00 pm–6:00 pm  |  Pizza & Mixer
6:00 pm–8:00 pm  |  Q&A with screenwriting alumni, professors and graduate students and a “Pitchfest” a big, interactive event with prizes!
