Join at either noon or 5 pm.

Get ready for Spring 2023!

Join Associate Professor of Instruction Ben Bays via Zoom to learn more about the Emergent Cinematic Arts program within the Department of Radio-Television-Film (RTF), and the thesis option being offered in this area.

RTF’s Emergent Cinematic Arts program offers a variety of courses in the practice and study of modern and emerging forms of media which draw from and build upon the legacy of film and television.  Over a dozen courses in CGI, Visual Effects, Animation, and Interactive are available. Students from this area have gone on to work in video games, motion capture, virtual production, visual effects, post-production, and animation.

Check out the Emergent Cinematic Arts webpage and feel free to contact Ben Bays benbays@utexas.edu with any questions.
