Announcing UT’s First Annual Student Screenwriting Festival—a creative weekend all about screenwriting!

To be held in DMC and CMA from February 4-6, 2022, the fest will include pitch sessions, discussions, table reads, writing prompts, movie screenings, and alumni panels. Snacks! Fun! And much, much more!

All UT students are welcome! No experience is necessary.

Join Screenwriting Area Head and Associate Professor Cindy McCreery on Thursday, December 2nd at 4pm CST for an information session via Zoom to learn how you can participate.

The festival is being organized by students and staff from the Department of Radio-Television-Film with additional support from the Center for Entertainment & Media Industries.
